Expected impact

Brent Bulls CIC Brent Bulls CIC wanted to pitch for a project total of £5000 to help push for two initiatives focusing on the critical themes of outdoors, active, mental and physical wellbeing and community togetherness. The first initiative will take place at the start of the project delivery. This is a 3x3 #AllGirls outdoor basketball tournament that will take place in the Brent Cross Town Exploratory PPark basketball court. Described by the Olympics as "exciting, urban and innovative " 3x3" in 2017 the Olympic board announced its decision toi include the sport as part of the programme officially. The benefits of 3x3 is the spacing it provides for layers, the increased engagement and participation of each player during the games and the entertainment value it brings, with gathering audiences, DJs and big brands endorsing global events. The funding will provide a professional setup, including officials, entertainment (DJ and host), media coverage, branding, basketball equipment
