The Pitch

Problem statement

The need is quite simple, since the pandemic, it has been difficult for people in the community, especially with a condition, issue, disability to access or support on a daily basis, and support their health and well-being, but engage with them and them to engage with others to improve on their daily life. Hate crime, has increased and 2 2 million people with a disability are still isolated, we want to support these people and community by offering activities and opportunities to support their ideas to look at training and education or even employment in the future, working with other groups to inspire people and give them confidence, to say I can rather than I can't

Solution

Provide activities and inclusion sport opportunities leading to building on confidence and look at coffee mornings and inviting other organisations to take part and talk with our participants leading to more awareness in the community, breaking down barriers and working more diversley together to engage and empower not only our participants, other groups ,organisations and local employers , colleges and even universities to look at new opportunities and programs that will support people we will work with.

Why are we best placed to deliver?

Our knowledge of inclusion and working in this sector is why we understand the need for these opportunities, working consistently with other groups and organisations, has made us more open and successful in promoting inclusion and diversity and we understand our community, but also the need to re-invent and listen when needed to become even more proactive and proficient in inclusion and diversity as we take nothing for granted and will learn new skills and work with the community to find the best outcomes.
