The ActionFunder Voting Tool is designed to engage stakeholders in the grant-making process by enabling them to vote for projects submitted by non-profit organisations that they would like to see funded. These Terms & Conditions outline the role of the voting tool and clarify that the final funding decision remains at the discretion of the funder.
Purpose of the Voting Tool
- The voting tool provides an opportunity for stakeholders to express their preferences on which non-profit organisations should receive funding.
- Votes are intended to inform and guide the funder’s decision-making process but do not necessarily determine the final outcome.
Final Decision-Making Authority
- The funder retains full and final authority over funding decisions.
- Voting results are non-binding and do not guarantee funding for any organisation.
- The funder may consider additional factors, including but not limited to project feasibility, alignment with funding priorities, and due diligence assessments, when making the final decision.
Fair Use & Integrity
- Participants must vote in good faith, and any attempts to manipulate or unfairly influence voting results (e.g., automated voting, multiple votes from the same individual beyond permitted limits) may result in disqualification.
- ActionFunder reserves the right to monitor voting activity and take necessary action to maintain the integrity of the process.
Funder’s Right to Amend or Withdraw
- The funder reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the voting process at any time without prior notice.
- If unforeseen circumstances arise, the funder may override the vote to ensure funding is allocated appropriately.
